Motel 70 will allow a pet to accompany a guest in a motel room only on the following terms:
1. Maximum number of pets is 2 on the property. No exceptions. We do not allow pets to be kept in vehicle overnight, due to the safety of the pet and prevent disturbance of barking.
2. A $20 non-refundable fee for each pet is to be paid upon check-in. This is for basic cleaning of pet hair and odor. Additional charges for damage or excessive cleaning, such as pet urine or feces anywhere in the room, maybe imposed, if applicable. Pet pee pads are not recommended due to odor issues. Motel recommends that guest walk their pet(s) on a regular basis.
3. Guest must have a valid credit card on file in the registered guest's name upon check in.
4. No dangerous animals, animals perceived to be threatening, wild animals, or other unusual animals will be allowed. The Motel shall make the final determination of whether a specific pet will be permitted on the premises. If the pet at any time threatens another guest or a Motel associate, the Motel reserves the right to request the pet's removal. If the pet causes damage, barks, makes other noises, or is otherwise a cause of guest complaints, the Motel reserves the right to require the guest to remove the pet. In addition, if noise complaints surface and inconvenience other guests, we reserve the right to charge the pet owner's account for any rebates given to these guests as a result of their discomfort.
5. Pets must not be left unattended in room or vehicle overnight. Maximum number of pets is 4 on the property. We do not allow pets to be kept in vehicle overnight, due to the safety of the pet and prevent disturbance of barking.
6. The Motel prohibits pets from being in any other guest room other than the registered guest’s room.
7. Unregistered or undisclosed animals at check in will result in a $250 cleaning charge.
8. The Motel, at its discretion, is not required to provide any warning or second chance for violation of this policy and the decision of the Motel will be final.
9. ACCEPTANCE OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGES: Guest is responsible and liable for all damages or injuries to the property, themselves, guests, visitors of guests, hotel employees, etc. as a result of their pet. In cases where damages are done to the room, guest will be liable for all costs for repair and/or replacement of goods. This includes complete replacement of carpet and padding if pet odors/stains, such as pet urine or feces, cannot be removed. The guest agrees to indemnify the Motel for any such damage. If the motel is unable to rent the damaged room while the room is being repaired, the guest shall be responsible for any lost room revenue incurred by the motel. The charges for such damage repair and/or lost revenue may be charged to the guest’s credit card. If any incidents with the pet(s) are not resolved immediately, guests may be asked to leave without refund of any kind.
